Here’s a look at upcoming events…
On Monday, Mar. 10th — Atlanta. At 4pm, Moral Monday will hold a press conference on voter suppression resulting from the 2013 elimination of the Voting Rights Act “preclearance” requirement at the GA State Capitol rotunda. Join TeamRad at the press conference, then reconvene at Central Presbyterian Church (across the street) at 5pm to hear Rev. Joseph E. Lowery and NAACP/GA president Francys Johnson discuss the Voter Rights amendment. Both events are free and open to the public.
Also on Monday, Mar. 10th — Savannah. Join Dr. Rad and the Chatham County Democrats for their monthly meeting at Barnes Restaurant on 5320 Waters Avenue, Savannah 31404 from 6-7:30pm. Dr. Rad will be discussing the U.S. Senate race and current issues facing Georgians. This event is free and open to the public.
Also on Monday, Mar. 10th — Atlanta. Dr. Rad’s wife, Susan, and members of TeamRad will join Georgia Stonewall and co-sponsors at Manuel’s Tavern at 6pm for a candidate round-up. This event is free and open to the public.
On Tuesday, Mar. 11th — Jasper. Join Dr. Rad and the Pickens County Democrats at the candidate meet & greet at the Pickens County Community Ctr. 1329 Camp Road, Jasper from 6-8pm. This is a great opportunity to talk with Dr. Rad one-on-one about the U.S. Senate campaign and issues that matter to you. Don’t miss it! This event is free and open to the public.
On Saturday, Mar. 15th — Statesboro. The Bulloch County Dems welcome Dr. Rad to a candidate meet & greet from 10am-12pm at the Honey Bowen building, 1 Max Lockwood Dr, Statesboro 30458. Candidates from a number of races will be participating. Dr. Rad will be available to discuss his positions on issues and the campaign itself. Take advantage of this opportunity to talk with the progressive Democrat in the U.S. Senate race! This event is free and open to the public.
